 How tasmanian devils survives,

1. Tasmanian devils are carnivorous and they survive on small preys.

2. They hunt at night and sleep during the day.

1. Tasmanian devils always run and that helps them get fit and survive but sometimes they have to be careful of the cars because the people can still be driving at night.

Dear dairy,

I had this weird dream last night, I WAS A TASMANIAN DEVIL. You might think think its crazy right because it is. Ill tell you all about it, so it was like this...

I woke up in a cave with Tasmanian devils all around me and I ran out of the cave and they did not hurt me and then I looked at myself and then I was a Tasmanian devil. All I did was sleep and then the Tasmanian devils woke me up and we went hunting.

We found some food and then we all started fighting and I just went off and to found other food. I was eating and the food didn't taste that bad. I went back to the cave and then we started howling so I joined in.

Tasmanian Devils

The Tasmanian Devil is a carnivorous marsupial of the family Dasyuridae. They may look cute but you do not want to go near them because they can eat you alive to defend themselves.

Here are 5 facts about Tasmanian Devils:

• The inside of their ears go bright red and that means that their are upset
• Their are called Devils because they look fierce, the bad tempered and because of the spine chilly screams they make at night.
• The large Tasmanian devil will eat the younger ones if they are really hungry and can not find food.
• young devils climb trees to catch and eat birds and older devils are mostly scavengers.
• They use their good sense of smell to find dead animals.

 Room 2 made a part of a story about Mary as a dairy, my part of a story of Mary is when Angel Gabriel came and told Mary she was going to have a baby,

Dear Diary,

I was doing nothing until I saw a bright light. I got so scared and thought of running, but I didn't because I saw someone with wings on there back. I didn't do much until it spoke. 

I moved back more and then  it told me “ Do not be afraid, I am Gabriel and I was sent by God. He wanted me to tell you this:  Mary you will have a baby boy and you must name it Jesus as it will be the son of God” I said back to Gabriel “ How will I have a baby, for I’m a virgin? “ He said back to me, “ Its all the power of God .” and then there was a really bright light again and when the light vanished, Gabriel was gone. I thought to myself how though I don't even think I’m ready to be a mother yet I was only 14. 

The Magnificent Culture Night

On Tuesday the 17th of November at 5.30 there was NBC's culture night. When we got there I had to go straight to my class room to put some Hanna on and let it dry for 15 minutes. All the class room's performed a show showing their culture that they were doing. Everyone bought food from the culture their doing, I brang short bread for Scotland and my brother was bringing something for Tonga, but he didn't because it failed. My class room was doing Switzerland and India. ( your properly wondering why I bought Scotland food, it is because we can bring any food we want from the country that we like ) I had to eat there was a mini mince with pasta, Hokey Pokey ice-cream, mac & cheese, spicy chicken and pizza, it was so good.

After eating Miss Buckley told everyone to be quite so we could so we can start. The class rooms sat down where they had to. First up was room 2 ( that was us ) and we did a Bollywood dance for India. Thanks to Jacky Isaac's mum for teaching us, The girls wearied sari's and the boy's wearied scarfs around their neak, underneath we wear a white t-shirt and black pant's and the boy's wearied a white t'shirt and black shirts, we had bindeys on our foreheads ( just the girls ) and Hanna on our hand's. when we got up on the stage I got so nervous that I thought I was going to get sick but I didn't because when I got there I just remembered that Miss Pownall was there and Jacky there to teach us and I was all fine.

Next was the other class's and room 2 ( that was us ) was 9th and we did the lonely goatherd from the movie the sound of music. I felt fine because I just thought of Miss Pownall there when we practised. We had some goats that Miss Pownall made. After that the teachers did a performen's  and then it was chore's turn, I was in the chore so I had to do it. We sang we are the world by Michael Jackson. I felt the same as the others but this time I saw Miss Holland and Miss More instead.

 

 School Trip!

Thursday the 5th room 2,3 went on a trip to the Museum, when we got to school we waited and waited till the bus got here. We got on the bus and went to town. We stopped at Margaret mahy for room 3 to get off the bus. The bus went off and dropped room 2 to the museum.

We got off the bus and went to the gardens next to the museum to have something to eat before going to the museum. After eating we went inside the museum. And put are bags down. We learnt about older games the were around before our parents were around.

We made our own games and then we went to the classroom and played games. After that we went for a walk to the library, when we were close to the library we sat down and had lunch. After lunch we went to the library and when we got there and someone named sam came up to us and told us to follow her.

We got in to the room and she and Lego on the table, we had to make birds for 10mins. After making birds we had to share and we got free time, I helped Zeb build a tall building. After freetime we went and walked to Margaret mahy, we played and played and then parents called us in for the bus. We waited for 5 minutes.

We hoped on the bus and went to school.

Thats the end of the trip.

I love doing Digi awards but it takes a long time doing it. I really liked doing it, so I'm looking forward to doing it again.

Dear Miss Pownall,


I strongly believe that we should have Charlie in the class to visit.
Here are three reasons why we should have Charlie in the class for the day. Reason one, he can help people focus on there work. Reason two, because he can keep people happy if they are sad. Lastly, they can help if you feel stressed.


Dogs can help us focus when working.
First of all, can help Room 2 to focus.  People love dogs and they would love a dog to help them work.  Studies have shown dogs can help with ADHD which means attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.I remember when I was working up in my room and my dog Chase came upstairs and he wanted pats, I patted him and it really helped me to focus on my work. 


They can keep people happy when they are sad.
Secondly, dogs are company when you are lonely and sad at the same time. 
Studies have shown that a dog can cause a kids brain to produce air and they call it cuddle chemical. An example was when I was sad, I  was up in my room, and my dog could hear me crying and he came up and gave me a cuddle. I was also struggling to breath but my dog made me breath normally. 


Dogs can help with stress. 
Finally, people know that we get stressed sometimes and having a dog in the class might help our stress levels decrease. Studies have shown that dogs can help with anxiety and depression. An example from my own life is when I was stressed to come back to school after lockdown. My dog helped me and tried to tell me it was going to be the same as always. 


In Conclusion I strongly believe we should have a dog in the class for the day because of three reasons, let me point them out to you again. Reason one he can help people focus on there work. Reason two because he can keep people to be happy when they are sad. Lastly, they can help with stress. Do you think it’s a good idea to have a dog in Room 2?

Why all children shouldn't have pets

All children should not have pets. This is because they are too much work, they cost money, and they can die quickly.

Firstly, some pets can to much work, what if no one is around the pets. You need to pay them attention and you need to feed them. I have a dog named chase and he is inside all day till we get home. 

Secondly, pets can use your money because for dogs they need food. Fishes they need fish food need fish tanks. I used to have a cat and every trip to the vet for medicines and tests all for that was 200$, if you want a pet you need to pay lots of money.

Finally, some pets can sometimes die quick. My dads friend Tom had a dog, one day when Tom and his family went to the beach and left the dog inside with the heat pump on and the dog drank all his water and he sadly died. I remember when me and my brother got our on fish and 1 week my brothers fishes died and 2 weeks my fish died, so fish die really quick.

In conclusion, I believe that all children should not have pets, this is because they can cost to much, they can die quick and be to much work. Thank you for listening to my agreement.

In a small town there was a shop not any shop The Little Shoemakers shop and
ill tell you all about The Little Shoemaker.

Sadly his friends a noone but the shoes are his friends. He works at an old
shoe shop and he lives in the shop, his job is to sell shoes. He makes
shoes by hand,  he wears a blue t-shirt, blue shorts and a really dirty apron
like he never washed it. 

He trotters like a horse. His hair is always facing up. He stands normal,
he also has square glasses.

I have built an obstacle course outside at my house.

you have three life's on each one. if all your life's are gone your out of the obstacle course.

you have a time. 

my time was 1 minute and 4 seconds

Here is the start and what you have to do is not to touch the sea shells. 

if you touch the sea shells you have to go back to the start. then you have 2 life's left

it is easy at the start but when you get to the end it gets tighter and harder.

Here is the second one and it is floors lava. what you have to do is not touch the ground. 

in some boxes is square shapes that you can see throw and if you touch the ground you go to the start of it and you have 2 lives left. 

Here is the third,you have three life's and you have to try and get the ball in the hop.if you get it in ones you move to the last bit.

The final round, what you have to do is walk on the skate bored. (its really hard on grass)
